Summer Dates: June 17- August 2, 2024 (7 weeks)
Staff Training: June 8th, 9th, 14th, 15th
Starting Salary: $16.78/hr
Additional training may be needed depending on specific position or other circumstance.
Day Camp Staff:Monday through Friday
Regular Camp Day Hours: 9:00AM - 3:00PM
Staff Hours: Staff work roughly 6.5 - 8 hours each day. Start and end times may vary, but the general staff hours are 8:15AM - 3:45PM.
PBC offers an extended day program and several staff may work from 7:30AM – 3:15PM or 9:00AM – 5:30PM
Sierra Sleep-Away12-days: August 5-16, 2024
This amazing 12-day program follows the Day Camp ending. Most staff return to this incredible experience each year. Our Sleep-Away staff are hired directly from the Day Camp Staff and is dependent upon availability, positions, and certifications desired. If you are interested in joining the Sleep-Away staff at summer's end, then you may indicate this on the staff application.
Peninsula Bay Cities Day Camp is located on the beautiful Rolling Hills Preparatory Campus in San Pedro, CA. The magnificent and secure 20-Acre site includes large grass field areas, court space, outdoor volleyball & basketball courts.
Our unique setting and outstanding staff provide an enriching and caring environment where children can discover, laugh, learn and grow.

One Group Counselor will spend one week in charge of Flag Football camp, running skills and drills.
BOAT DRIVER
We are currently seeking a person with experience driving waterski boats. This will be for our 12-day Sierra Sleep-Away program (August 5th – 16th) in beautiful Bass Lake, CA. Minimum age 20. This position may also work as staff in our Day Camp. If you have some experience with waterskiing/wakeboarding and driving a waterski boat, then apply now!
