The PBC Summer Staff Interview

Have fun from the very beginning!

First things first:

Watch the recruitment video. If that looks like something you want to be a part of, then call Brent Launer at 310-541-3664 and arrange a time to come in and meet us.

No pressure, just an introduction.

If you like us, we will send you home with an application and the quick, fun, and stress-free process will begin.

After that, the interview process for camp continues with a group interview day, after which selected candidates may be invited to a personal interview.

The group interview day provides the perfect opportunity for candidates to meet and interact with each other while demonstrating their ability to lead and teach a group.

Relax, it's ALL About Having Fun!

During the group interview, you will meet the Camp Directors and learn more about the program, philosophy, and goals. PBC will learn more about each candidate by observing as you lead songs, cheers, and skits and participate in a variety role-playing exercises, most of all, you will Have Fun! Every candidate will actively participate in the group interview process.

In the second interview we will talk. Again, no pressure, no stress. We may ask about your background & experiences; we may want to get an idea for how you problem solve; mostly, we just want to get a better idea of WHO YOU ARE. And give you a chance to learn more about who WE are, too.

These are some of the things that draw our attention:

· Personal appearance

· Personality

· Listening skills

· Understanding of camp life

· Maturity

· Leadership qualities

· Experience

· Attitude

· Common sense

After the personal interview applicants will be notified by mail of any job offer.
